W8ST Appointed Exclusive Distributor of Cutting-Edge SEAB Biodigesters in Australia and New Zealand

W8ST has officially been appointed the exclusive distributor of UK-based SEAB Energy’s modular biodigester systems in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)—marking a major milestone for local circular economy and renewable energy infrastructure.

The agreement gives W8ST sole rights to manufacture, supply and support SEAB’s Flexibuster™ and Muckbuster™ technologies across ANZ, providing commercial, industrial and municipal clients with a proven, on-site solution for turning organic waste into clean energy and fertiliser.

“SEAB’s technology fills a critical gap in our waste-to-resource landscape,” said Steve Jackson, CEO and Co-founder of W8ST.  “It’s compact, intelligent and already trusted by global brands. We're excited to bring that capability to Australian and New Zealand soil—especially as businesses and councils race to decarbonise and cut landfill.”

A Proven Global Solution, Now Local

SEAB Energy has spent over a decade refining small-scale anaerobic digestion systems that are modular, containerised and designed for real-world urban and industrial settings. Their award-winning biodigesters are already in use across Europe and North America in sectors ranging from food manufacturing to hospitals, universities, transport infrastructure and agriculture.

With W8ST now leading local manufacturer and distribution, customers will benefit from end-to-end support—including feasibility studies, biomethane testing, business case development, installation and long-term monitoring and maintenance.

“We’ve found a partner in W8ST who truly understands the value of decentralised, scalable infrastructure,” said Sandra Sassow, CEO and Co-founder of SEAB Energy. “Their technical depth, circular economy focus, and relationships across industry and government make them the ideal stewards of our technology across Australia and New Zealand.”

Why SEAB Biodigesters?

Unlike traditional, large-scale anaerobic digesters that require large-scale footprints, SEAB’s units are designed for flexibility and decentralised deployment. They operate on a wide range of organic waste—including food scraps, processing byproducts and green waste—and can be installed directly on-site, reducing transport costs and emissions.

Each system is equipped with remote monitoring, odour control and automatic gas-to-energy conversion—allowing operators to generate electricity, hot water and fertiliser from their own waste streams.

“This is more than just equipment—it’s infrastructure for a new kind of energy system,” said Steve. “It’s local, closed-loop and scalable. And for many of our clients, it’s the missing piece in their sustainability strategy.”

Supporting the Circular Transition

The W8ST-SEAB partnership comes at a pivotal moment. With organic waste bans, net-zero commitments and rising landfill costs, organisations in Australia and New Zealand are urgently seeking solutions that offer both environmental and economic return.

Through this exclusive agreement, W8ST aims to accelerate the deployment of SEAB biodigesters in food precincts, processing facilities, farms, councils and circular precincts across Australia and New Zealand.
